West Texas Green Chile Burritos

Submitted by Michelle

4 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 lb Hamburger
2 cups Chopped onions
1 Tbsp Comino (cumin)
1 tsp Seasoned salt
Flour Tortillas
1/2 cup Chopped green peppers
1 can Old El Paso green chili enchilada sauce
1 small can Herdez salsa verde
1 small can Red tormatilla (tomatoes)
1/2 can Cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup Chopped Velveeta cheese
1/2 cup Sour cream
3/4 cup Grated cheddar cheese

Pour 2 Tbsp of the olive oil in a skillet. Brown the hamburger, 1 cup chopped onions, comino and seasoned salt. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Next brown the second cup of onions and the one-half cup of green peppers in the last two Tablespoons of olive oil. When they are browned, combine all the rest of the ingredients in the skillet over medium heat except the grated cheddar cheese and stir until the Velveeta cheese has melted.

When sauce is thoroughly mixed and the Velveeta cheese melted, remove from heat. Wrap the hamburger mixture in the tortillas and cut in thirds. Place in the Terra Cotta One-Quart Steamer and cover with sauce. (There will be additional sauce left over which you can serve in the Terra Cotta Chili Bowl.) Sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake at 275 degrees for one hour.

Prior to serving microwave the additional sauce in the Terra Cotta Chili Bowl. It's absolutely delicious and super easy to make!
