Place foil over a rimmed metal baking pan. Place salmon filet on foil. Squeeze the juice of 1 lime over the salmon and allow to stand ½ hr. Preheat oven to 400. Cover filet with thinly sliced onions, sprinkle with brown sugar, drizzle with soy sauce. Place in hot oven and roast until done, basting occasionally.
