Well, pretty much just buy a six pack of pounders. Might want to take care of one of them yourself while you prepare the chicken. You need this:

It took about an hour and twenty minutes using high on my rotisserie burner for a four and a half pound chicken.
Here is the accidental rooster from our moveable chicken coop. Notice the smaller 12 oz can works fine. This guy just started crowing, but unfortunately, we live in the city:
